I got this recipe from a MFP friend. I make this once a week and eat the same everyday and I love it-
Here is the recipe-
1) liquid Egg whites 1/2 cup (9 tbsp). (I use Wilcox organic egg whites from costco)
2) NF/LF cottage cheese 1 cup
3) spinach 1 cup (sauteed)
4) deli ham/turkey or ground cooked turkey or any other meal - 2-3oz

Preheat oven to 350. Mix all the above in a baking dish and bake for 35-40mins in the middle rack. (Optional - If you like, you can sprinkle some jalapeno cheese on the top and bake for an additional min or two). This makes 4 servings for a meager 74cals/serving

I double up the recipe and make 8 servings and have this for breakfast everyday.

because I am following a diet called The Dukan diet which is low-carb and low-fat. Plus, I have started watching my Cholestrol.

I noticed that since I have started low-carbing, my total cholestrol went from 151 to 181 of which the 30 points were LDL and I am worried (i know my overall chol is ok and so is my HDL). I attribute this to increase in 'whole' egg intake, etc.

I believe you are contributing your increased cholesterol to the wrong thing. Your diet isn't open so I can't see what you're eating. But, eating all the bacon and eggs I wanted resulted in my cholesterol dropping significantly. If anything, you should ditch anything labeled "low fat", "non-fat", "fat free", and "reduced fat". Most "low fat" versions of food add sugars to replicate the flavor of fat. Also, if your intake of protein is too high your body converts the excess protein into glucose which will eventually sabotage your low carb.efforts.
