first 5 km run

Tomorrow evening is my first 5 km run.
less than 24 hours away I am so nervous
thank god its suposed to warm up tomorrow

    I'm so excited for you! I'm sure you'll do great. Report back! I haven't yet signed up for my first race. Thinking I should do that soon.

    Dont be nervous, you'll have so much fun and be so proud of yourself! I was proud even though I finished last among the runners. Only a walker finished after me, lol. I dont care, I'm getting better all the time. I just did my 1st one in early December. My next one is Sat 1/19/13. I'm so excited!

    You will LOVE your first 5k. The feeling is so amazing! I did my first around week 4 and my second around week 8. I am looking for another one soonish to sign up for.

    Finished in 59 min lmao walkers were passing me
    BUT now to work on a lil speed for the may 24 race in ottawa
    Got traction aides bye due north at the running room now that winter is here in full force in canada
    and winter running pants cant wait will be running tonight :)

    What do you think of the traction aids? Are they the snow cleat things that go over your runnig shoes? We've got full on winter in New Endland too and I am NOT a fan of it. lol

    ya they just slip over my shoes, takes a bit of getting used to but so far they are workin and I am outside running and walking
    I think they will work for spring and fall trail running also I cant wait to try it out lol
