In this section, let's all post our 2013 resolutions (including our weight resolution and amount of time we are targeting to reach that goal)..... Here is to the year we all reach our targets together!!!!! Happy New Year, everyone!

Resolutions - continue with a "balanced" approach. My weight is already at goal (or round about thanks to Christmas! :grumble: ) but I need to keep it there.
I'd like to register for some more 5Ks and perhaps increase my distance some.0 -
I have decided to make a serious commitment to living a healthier lifestyle which means better food choices and more exercise.
I don't have a specific weight goal for the year but will set mini goals that I will push for and then set a new one. First one is to get down to 85kgs.0 -
I want to eat cleaner, workout at least five days a week, and hit my ultimate goal weight in 2013.0

Goal is to get thru the january holidays. After this should be easy. Aim is to increase my incidental exercise daily and continue abstaining from chocolate0

I don't know why I can't edit my post, but here is some more information about my resolution.
My goal weight is around 140 or 150 lbs. (I'm not really sure, I'll have to see how my body looks)/feels) I'd really like to hit this by the middle/end of summer, but if I hit it at anytime this year I'll be happy.0 -
Hi...just joined the group...very motivated by Carmen's motivation!
Here are some of my 2013 Resolutions:
1. Get back down to goal weight for wedding (in May) and honeymoon (in June).
2. Surf more.
3. Go to Vegas for the first time (in April).
4. Eat more fruits and veggies.
I have others, but those are probably the most exciting!
Goal weight is 112. Want to be there by April or so.0 -
To be down 20 lbs for my 25th Birthday in August0

Get to Goal Weight – 145 by 6/1/13; 130 by 12/31/13.0

I am so excited that we are going to start this year out right! And for me, my long awaited 2013 resolutions are going to begin as of January 3, 2013..... I am going to only add my personal/health goals here, my work goals are equally long (gulp)..... Here goes....
1. I want to eat fast food no more than one time a month. Because my kids tend to eat it a lot more, I am going to try and convert them to one or less times a week. We have initiated Fast Food Fridays as of 2013- we will see how that works...
2. I want to work out 4-5 times a week for at least 30 minutes.
3. I want to get to my ideal weight by March 1, 2013. 20 more pounds to go!
4. I am going to try to eat cleaner- for now, I am going back on a less intensive type of low carb diet, because it is hard to keep track of my calories. Once I hit my ideal weight- I am doing a three day juice cleanse!
5. I was either going to severly cut back sodas, or alcohol. I chose soda- as I do enjoy the occasional happy hour. So, my goal is to have one or less sodas (diet or regular) a week.
6. Starting tomorrow, I am going to try like crazy to actually record my daily diet. I find I eat better when I am being held accountable.....
7. I want to increase my water intake....
8. I would like to train and better my time at the Disney Wine and Dine half marathon in October.... Feel free to join me- it is a blast!
9. I would like to get to a point where I can actually do 25 push ups (the real ones) at one time. Right now I think I am at like 2 or 3.
10. I want to learn how to ballroom dance with my husband!
My goal weight is 135. I think I look best around 138ish, but feel like I should get a little lower so I can fluctuate! Haha!!!0 -

is 80 pounds to much to loose in one year
..260-250 by end of summer
that wil do for now..
work out in gym three times or more
and keep mfp diary updated everyday
better job
