laydown blinds

i seem to notice geese not finishing as well with laydown blinds as well as they use to. have you had the same experience??? i do ok, but i like them to land in the decoys then hammer down...and i have noticed in the last few years i get better results with a snow cover, like they are shy of it unless the foiledge is high.


any similar situations?
