I just retired from teaching school. Finally I am going to be able to hunt in September. They would never have let me off so early in the school year and a weekend wasn't enough.
How many of you were drawn for fall archery hunts? Perhaps you can buy an OTC tag where you live. Here in New Mexico, all big game hunts are by drawing. i seem to notice geese not finishing as well with laydown blinds as well as they use to. have you had the same experience??? i do ok, but i like them to land in the decoys then hammer down...and i have noticed in the last few years i get better results with a snow cover, like they are shy of it unless the foiledge is high.…
