An MFP friend posted this link. I don't agree with this man at all (he's in denial pure and simple), but it does raise some questions.

This screams alcoholism and gives me a terrible headache.
Let's take a few extreme examples of those who abstain from alcohol so that I may rationalize my need to drink on a daily basis.
And waking up with pain around your kidneys doesn't sound like something that happens to a "normal" drinker... Ugh.0 -
That's exactly what I thought. Who gets kidney pains after drinking and thinks it's a normal reaction to a glass or two?!

I'd really like to smack him... But, as we all know, you can't help someone who doesn't want help.
Maybe after this month of abstinence, he will realize that he needs some help!0
