Feeling Sore!

Hello Ladies... So I just started the Lean Phase of CLX and I am really sore compared to past workouts. My Tricepts are killing me....not to mention I feel really swollen if that makes any sense at all. hahah I know this means that it is working, I mean "no pain no gain right?"

Well just wanted to share my non-significant thoughts. I hope I can push through todays workout even though im sore :(

Its a New Year! Lets start the new year right!

I have to keep reminding myself that! Dont give up...You can do it!!!

    Hey Tina,

    I started back again yesterday after almost a 2-week break due to the flu and the holidays. Believe me, I did not know I was going to struggle with the workouts. I did Burn Intervals yesterday and it was so hard for me to keep up with it. I am so sore today, as well, but I agree with you, "No Pain, No Gain". It is a good pain, though. :wink: We can do it! Hang in there. :flowerforyou:

    Yep, that means it's working, you're building some muscle. Sounds like you have DOMS and I get that after some really heavy lifting. You described it, swollen and sore. If you can get the hubby to massage your legs, triceps, etc it does help to release some of that. Drink plenty of water as well and be sure you take your rest days to recoup. The last time I had DOMS so bad and my husband massaged my hamstrings I couldn't decide whether to :laugh: or :sad: it felt/hurt so good. But it worked. Felt so much better the next day.

    Today was a rest day but back at it tomorrow. I'll continue to do my ChaLean until P90X arrives.
