So I did it I went to my dr today and discussed my eating patterns . Even showed her my logs and keeping track of binges and moods. Also discussed how I feel before during and after binging. We also discussed how sometimes when the grief is too much I will purge. I am feeling very proud of myself for this step and my honesty with myself, my husband, and my doctor. I just wanted to share.

Great for you! Talking about it with someone is always an essential step, and now that you've done that you're that much closer to recovery! :)

Well done!!! :flowerforyou: I have a journal too where I record my feelings along with food. This inspires me to keep going with my own. I am so glad you were able to share this with your doctor! You should be proud!

thank you, since my appt last week I have only had 2 binges and only one resulted in a purge. This is a big accomplishment. It used to happen daily for me.

Well done for taking that step, and I am sure it will be onwards and upwards for you.
I too am battling the binge/purge cycle, I am fine as long as I avoid regular sugar intake.

Its amazing since eating regularly and no binging or purging I have actually lost 5 lbs this week alone . . . im in shock. I have to tell everyone you can do this too. I also found it helps to talk to people. I am able now to talk to my husband about when i feel the need to purge and hes also helping me recognize a binge. Last night I did eat in the middle of the night but as I was doing so I stopped, I have control again not food. you all can get here.
