so for my workout today i had my hrm watch and it told me i was working out at 80% which is absolutley brilliant for me anyway i know i only did 18 mins but i burned 161 calories which im gutted about i thought it would of been a few more concidering how much effort i was throwing into the workout. Im going to do it twice today as i missed yesterday :sad: as an old friend not seen in years knocked at my door.
But on the plus note i know its only my second day at the video but i felt like it was just that little bit easier to do i'm probably gonna regret saying that by the time it comes to tomorrows workout. Rant over lol x

161 calories for 18 minutes is awesome! That's around 500 calories an hour. Pretty good burn, I'd say.
Don't be discouraged. That's 161 calories more than you would have burned sitting on the couch.0 -
I need a HRM! MFP is way off, but Im trying not to eat back my calories. I took a rest day today, I was stuck in court for 8 hours..courtesy of my ex husband :devil:

After 1 workout of RIU the other night, I decided to go back to SIU tonight. After 5 SIU workouts, I need a few more before finally progressing to RIU. I don't feel like my heart rate is up enough in SIU but I'm completely drained after RIU so I'm putting more energy into SIU.
I'm disappointed that I have let myself get this out of shape :ohwell: But I do feel better in general, so that makes up for my lack of physical ability for now.
I'm with Karen, I'm not eating back my calories unless I'm hungry. Just gotta keep listening to the body. I'm doing everything I'm supposed to be doing, but I have this fear that I'm not going to reach my goal. But I refuse to binge on cookies and potato chips and I WILL keep with my 6 wk commitment.
