Would be great to get a recipe thread going, I have been paleo for 2 years now and have built up quite a goo repatoire but I'll never say no to new ideas!
Here is a couple to get the ball rolling:
Sausage and Pumkin Stew (5 portions)
700g good quality sausages
1 small pumpkin or butternut squash
3 large carrots
2 garlic cloves
500g carton passata
200ml water
Dash worcester sauce (optional but gives a nice kick)
Oregano
Black pepper
Sea salt
Cut all the veg and sausages up. Fry the sausage, drain extra oil then give the veg a couple of minutes. Add everything else, cover and simmer for an hour. Or chuck everything in a slow cooker on low for 7ish hours.
Sarah Fragoso's Paleo Apple Muffins (16 muffins)
2½ cups Almond Flour
4 Eggs
1 Apple
1 Banana
1 Tablespoon coconut oil
½ Cup water
½ Teaspoon baking powder
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
Melt the coconut oil, mash the banana then mix everything together. Spoon into muffin cups and bake at 350 farenheit/180 celcius for 20 mins. Try not to eat whole batch in one go.
