Side Dominance- Seriously visible assymmetry

So I've always been a little bigger on my left side, as was evidenced when it became apparent that I really needed a bra with two different cup sizes. (Sorry, no pictures. ) it never occurred to me when I was a soft slob that this would carry through to the rest of my body, but now I'm finding....
My left side is kind of Hulk while my right side is...well, still kind of soft and doesn't have the same type of muscular definition. Upper body doesn't seem to have as much discrepancy in looks, and my left side is weaker. I'm right handed, so I guess this to be expected. I wonder if my handed-ness has something to do with my lower body dominance? Specifically when I run- I wonder if I push harder with the left leg bc of the right upper body backwards momentum.
I'll STFU and cut to the chase here. My left quad, ham and glute are much bigger, firmer, defined than my right and I want to know if there's anything I can do to correct this before I look like a man on the left and a 13 year old girl on the right.
Pistol squats or any type of one legged squat, right? Cut off my right leg and get a prosthetic? Any other ideas/ tips?

1. Probably not as bad as you think.
2. Add some single arm/leg work to your routine. Start with the weak side, then only do as many reps on the strong side as you could do on the weak side.
Pistols are difficult, I would recommend the leg press machine and lunges for quads.0 -
Yeah, I forgot to add that I'm pretty sure I could not DO a pistol squat. Are you suggesting single leg presses?0

I agree with Rock, as usual.
Leisure reading. Note that the principles here apply to hypertrophy as well as strength:

I was just thinking about this today. I was doing French presses and I noticed my left arm is a lot more flabby then my right.0
