hi there-
Just took another round of blood tests yesterday. My numbers are definitely dropping and I think that explains why I'm now freezing all the time regardless of how much clothes I bundle into. Flu-like symptoms as well, yuck!
Here are my results from when I started before RAI till present.
Before RAI (10/31)
TSH= <0.01 (0.10 to 5.50)
Free T4= 2.3 (0.8 to 1.7)
Total T3, not done
11/27
TSH=<0.01 (0.10 to 5.50)
Free T4= 1.8 (0.8 to 1.7)
Total T3= 161 (50 to 170)
12/19
TSH=.01 (0.10 to 5.50)
Free T4= 1.3 (0.8 to 1.7)
Total T3=120(50 to 170)
01/02/2013
TSH= 0.27 (0.10 to 5.50)
Free T4= 0.9 (0.8 to 1.7)
Total T3= 72 (50 to 170)

Hmm, they really should be testing your free T3. In people who have thyroidectomies or RAI (and the thyroid dies) the conversion from T4 into T3 doesn't happen as readily.
You are definitely hypo, and if it was me I would want meds NOW. What did your doctor say about the results...??
Have you and your doctor talked about which meds you'll be taking? Because you did RAI I would definitely suggest you look at taking a natural/dessicated med like Nature Thyroid or Armour.
Honestly, if your doctor isn't open to putting you on meds now I would be looking for a new doctor.0
