Hello! I have had low throid for years and it seems like I have a harder time at losing weight. I take levoxthrine medication. I have started healthy eating and I workout at Curves. Does anyone have any advice as to what I couuld take to help my throid work better? It is my new years resolution to lose more weight this year.

I would make sure that your doctor is testing your free T3 and free T4 and basing your dose on that. If they're just testing your TSH you are likely still hypothyroid and needing more meds.

Your free T4 results should be mid range, and your free T3 should be in the top 1/3 of the range your lab uses. You want these levels to be optimal, not just "within normal range".
