I was down to 179 for several days (I do check the scale every day, can't help it), and I got so excited because that's the 20 pound mark for me. But it fluctuates quite a bit day to day, oh well. Next time, I hope!0 -

Overall lost 4 pounds in January, that's under my goal of 1.5 lbs per week but it still feels like good progress.
I hope to make it to 174 by the end of Feb. That will be 25 pounds down and halfway to goal - and a friend is visiting me then who hasn't seen me since I started losing.0 -

It has been a bit since I weighed in...had a wedding anniversary (yea us!) , so I am taking a guess and I think I am only down .2 lbs but I will take take fifth of a pond....better than gaining it.0

I'm new here but I will do mine! My first month of changing my eating habits I've lost 10.5lbs and 12" I feel like I'm off to a great start!

New to this group but excited to find a group of people like me......I think when I hit my 40's my metabolism came to a halt!
Just going to put my weight in for today. Lost 18 total since Thanksgiving and been fluctuating within the same 2-3 pounds for 3 weeks now. I should not be stuck already with so much more to lose.
Thought a month ago I would definitely be out of the 170's..........

Gee, I *thought* my weight was okay at 132 (I'm 5'6"). But today I put on a pair of boy-cut underwear and thought, "Oh, yes.. those five pounds above the waistline need to go!" I have a small frame, small chest, skinny arms - there's nowhere to hide the extra pounds! So my revised plan is to get down to ~128 and also build up some muscle.

I had a good week. Down 2 lbs, either because the muscle I've put on is burning up calories.. or maybe my increased protein intake is helping shed some water. Either way, progress is nice!
