Interesting list. Thanks for sharing. I've read (or listened to on an audiobook) six of the ten --

    Diary of Anne Frank
    Gone with the Wind
    Twilight - The Saga
    The DaVinci Code
    Lord of the Rings
    Harry Potter

I've read parts of the Bible over the years, but never cover to cover. Doubt if I'll read the "Think and Grow Rich" or "Quotations from Mao Tse Tung", but I may have to try "The Alchemist".

This is a great list. I'm currently working of the 1001 books to read before you die list on Shelfari but hadn't really thought of the most popular books in the world, very cool!!

    I've read:

    1. Harry Potter
    2. The Art of War - Mao Tse-tung
    3. The Alchemist
    4. The Da Vinci Code
    5. The Lord of the Rings
    Some of the Bible

Time to add the other 4 books to my queue I guess!
  • Harry potter
    The twilight saga
    The da Vinci code
    some of the Bible
    The diary of Anne frank

Edit: I have most of of the others on my e reader but not sure I am interested in the lord of the rings ones. Might have to try the alchemist tho

Same answer for me. I actually read quite a bit of the bible for a literature class in high school (very interesting course) and read a lot of it during bible study both as a child and as an adult but I'm sure I've never covered the whole thing.

I've added "The Alchemist" to my to-read list. Thanks OP!

5/10. I'm going to pick up the Alchemist and Gone with the Wind so thanks for the tip!
The Bible (yep. all of it)
    Harry Potter
    LoTR (including The Silmarillion twice!!)
    Da Vinci Code
Twilight (actually only the first one. I got the idea...)
    ...so I suppose 4 1/4(?)

    1) Twilight Saga (sad to admit that)
    2) Bible
    3) Diary of Anne Frank
    4) Gone With The Wind

I held out as long as I could to read the Harry Potter novels, so I'll be reading those soon; same with Lord of the Rings. I hate reading stuff just because it's popular with everyone else at a given time. Which is why I read Twilight this past year after everyone and their grandmother had read the books. I'm stubborn that way! :)

Since I am at work, I can't get the list but from the ones I see listed on other peoples answers, I have read the Twilight Saga, Harry Potter series, Diary of Anne Frank, Gone with the Wind, The DaVinci Code. Not sure what other ones are listed.
