Should I increase calories gradually?

Checking on scoobys workshop I should be on approx 1,900 cal per day.

Over the last 12 months I've been at 1,500 and gradually lost 18lbs bringing me pretty much to where I want to be ( 5' 6" tall and currnetly hovering between 132 - 134lbs)

I train 3 - 4 times a week - manly running or circuit style sessions. This year I plan to add more resistance work in.

I'm thinking about increasing from 1,500 ( I haven't generally been eating back exercise calories)

Should I increase gradually? And how much how often?

    Hiya
I took a look at the more accurate calculator on Scooby's today and also at my current levels of exercise - redid my numbers and I will try and go up by about 100 or so with the new numbers ...
I would go for it, and do it maybe 100 or so at a time and give it time to take effect?

Thanks - 100 at a time was just what I was thinking.
It is a scary thought - but I need to find my happy medium!

I know what you mean - I realise I need to acknowledge the increased exercise that the stretching regime brings as it gets the heart rate going before the gym but the 1600-1700 range scares me a little ...
