Getting a bunch of meat tomorrow, yay!

I placed an order with a local farm for one of their "family packs". It's 18 pounds of assorted grass fed meats. I figure it's a good way to find out what I like and don't like. I'll probably put some of it right into the fridge for meals this week. The only thing that's in the pack that I don't know what to do with is cube steaks, and I get like 4 of them. Any ideas?

Sounds good but I can't have dairy. I bet I could still do something like that minus the cheese.0

It's nothing novel, but my husband and I like it; this is pretty much the same thing I used to do with cube steak, but with paleo-friendly ingredients:
Mix coconut flour with some spices on a plate (garlic, cumin, paprika, parsley, salt, pepper, etc...), beat an egg with a splash of coconut aminos, dip each steak in the egg mix and then the coconut flour mix, and pan fry them in coconut oil (medium heat). 1 large egg is probably enough for 4 average sized steaks.
It's quick and tasty... sometimes we top them with sauteed mushrooms and onions. I've done this with almond flour too--it tastes just as good, but the coconut flour seems to stick and crisp up a little better.0 -
Salt & Pepper Cube Steaks
■2 to 3 lbs of cube steaks
■1-1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
■1 tsp coarse black pepper

That sounds awesome!! I just went to Whole Foods and the grass-fed meat is so expensive, I wish I could find something more affordable because my grocery bill was double what it usually is.0

Yay! Local meat! I am waiting on a call, getting a 1/4 pig myself soon. I just put a whole deer in the freezer that a friend shot for me. Yum yum.0

Whole foods meat is a rip off and usually isn't really grass fed (more than 80%).
buying a cow for the home is the best investment.
Cube steak - I'm a dude, so I go easy. I beat the crap out of it. Put it in a cooking thingy with sugar free salsa and cut up green, red and yellow peppers. Baked it for 40 and chowed it down. Wasn't as good as a filet - but then I set my expectations lower0 -
Hooray for local farms! Sounds like a great plan. Is it all beef, and just different cuts?

I found a recipe for cube steak and made it last not. I was not impressed. The meat was kind of chewy. And, yes, the pack is all beef, just different cuts. In addition to the cube steaks, there's ground beef, rib eye steak, sirloin tip roast(another thing which I am not sure how to cook), stew meat, chuck roast, and NY strip. It's 18 lbs. We're trying the ribeyes tonight.0
