Hey Everyone,
On my 2nd week of RIU and I sometimes don't feel motivated to do the workouts, but I remember to just push play and eventually I will enjoy working out again like I used to. Going from SIU to RIU was definitely a struggle, but after a few days it gets a little easier to get through the entire video. My butt felt the most of the workout with the added butt section when you are on your knees. I can't wait for the 6 weeks to be over with! What is everyone else's thought on RIU from SIU?

I felt the same way! It was a challenge to go from 30 min to 50 for sure! Especially since I have a 3 yr old and a 5 month old and the only way I have been getting my workouts in is at 530 am before they get up! so its been a challenge for sure to fit in the extra time. But I just push myself because I know it will be worth it in the end!
I also feel like once we get to the mat to do our leg workout , its a bit of a break..from there its almost over. It doesnt seem like much but its really working those problem areas for me!
Im motivated to keep on going!! We can do this !!!! WE ARE WORTH IT!0 -
I give you kudos for waking up at 5:30 to do your workouts along with having two kids to keep up with. I have tried it, but I can't seem to get my body to get outta the warm bed so I just workout in the afternoon. It is a small break, but my buns always burn super bad and I have to keep pushing myself. Like you mentioned though it is awesome to see small improvements!!!!
Thanks for the response it was def motivating to know that others are right where I am at!!!0 -
Hi! I just finished my first week of SIU and today decided to start my next week with Ramp it up--it was definitely a GREAT workout!! I made it thru all the way (really pushing at times!) soooo glad I decided to do it! When it was really hard I thought in my head about the people on the Biggest Loser last nite who were crying becuz they had to do one pushup, etc. LOL so that really motivated me!
I am glad I took my measurements and a before pic so I can see where I am at the end of the 6 weeks! And yes, Karen, congrats to your dedication for getting up so early to get your workout in!0 -
Everyone does what works for them. I feel better doing it in the morning and getting it done! but I did watch the 3rd disc today and its a whole 60 minutes! :noway: Its going to be a good workout though. Im excited and scared at the same time hahahaha0

I think I am going to watch RIU today or tomorrow and decide if I continue with SIU for the full two weeks.0

SIU is only one week.
Slim in 6
42 days counting rest days = 6 weeks
Daily Schedule
Days 1-6 Start it Up
Day 7 Rest
Days 8-13 Ramp it Up
Day 14 Rest
Days 15-20 Ramp it Up
Day 21 Rest
Days 22 - 27 Burn it Up
Day 28 Rest
Days 29 - 34 Burn it Up
Day 35 Rest
Days 36 - 41 Burn it Up
Day 42 Rest
Or think of it this way, Weekly Schedule (workout 6 days a week)
Week 1 Start it Up
Weeks 2-3 Ramp it Up
Weeks 4-6 Burn it Up0 -
Everywhere I have read it says SIU is 2 weeks... hum? Oh well, I did it for two and started RIU yesterday.0

its 2 weeks per disc so
SIU 1-2
RIU 3-4
BIU 5-60 -
Everyone goes at their own pace. Because I have a crazy schedule & two small kids ,my rest days are not always the same.
But I do beleive they "recommend 2 weeks on each disc, and working out 6 days a week " But you do whats good for you and go at your own pace.As long as your keeping at it you will see results!!
My results arent really showing on the scale, but my progress is showing in the mirror! Remember to take pics! The scale does not alway show how hard we work!0 -
Well the BeachBody website says 1 week start it up 2 weeks ramp it up 3 weeks burn it up.
Yes, go at your own pace, but the company recommends this.

Unless it says different on the actual dvds? I don't know because I don't have them.0
