    I lost 2.8 POUNDS!!!!

    I am so THRILLED by how many of you have accepted my "lose 1 pound a week challenge" and BEST OF ALL we are doing it the HEALTHY, SAFE WAY!!! SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE!!!! I see so many of us have actually LOST MORE THAN 1 POUND and NOT BY CRASH DIETING!!!! Our bodies are LOVING OUR HEALTHY LIFESTYLE!

    I originally thought my challenge post would gain me a small collection of friends who wanted to take control of their lives and make healthy changes. I NEVER IMAGINED IT WOULD DEVELOP INTO A GROUP OF OVER 250 PEOPLE MAKING THIS JOURNEY TOGETHER, SUPPORTING ONE ANOTHER IN GOOD WEEKS AND BAD!!!!! I am TRULY inspired by each and every one of you and feel privledged to be a part of this GROUP!!!

    Everyone has done so well. Wtg everyone, unfortunately i cannot be part of the groups success this week. Wow, talk about feeling like the odd man out or the third wheel! This is what happens when you don't exercise!

    Gained 2.2 lbs this week!

    A week ago I was trying to nail down my plan and to imagine what this journey would look like. I started my diet Thursday and the results far exceeded my expectations.

    Start: 233.2
    Today: 227.0
    Week one Weight Loss = 6.2 lbs.

    I hope to continue losing at least one pound per week, but more is good! Slow and steady wins the race.
    The key for me is to lose the weight and never find it again.

    Life is good. We're doing this together and making small changes over time to deliver lasting results. Cheers to everyone for their week one results.

    My scale said 164 lbs. for a 4 lb. loss. A first week water weight loss. I'm 46 so it will be slow going after this.
    My goal is 135 lbs. by 7/30.

    1/1- 168 lbs.
    1/8- 164 lbs.

    2/5-
    2/9- Leave for St. Thomas

    BTW This picture is from last February. I gained 5 pounds from Feb to July. Then once school started in August, I stopped exercising. Ouch! The weight poured back on. 20 more pounds from August to Christmas. I only had 5 pounds left to lose at the time of that picture. Now I'm back to 25 pounds to lose.

    Exercise and consistency are so crucial for my weight loss journey. That picture makes me want to cry but it is also my inspiration. I did it before. I lost 35 pounds. Now, I have to do it again for the last time. I have to truly achieve something I have only grasped at before...Maintenance.

    Hopefully, being a part of the POUND A WEEK Challenge will help me stay slow & steady and keep the weight off for good!

    Im not very excited about this number because I know I lost a lot of it because I've been really sick... :( And I'm probably going to gain some of it back, but oh well... that's the number.

    I kept staring at myself in the "mirror" at the gym and my buddy asked what was wrong. I told her I thought they had funhouse mirrors cause I looked thin. LOL! Then we weighed ourselves and I hit my mid-deployment weight loss goal 4 days early and we jumped around and woo-who'ed and high fived in front of tons of people... Tonight's gym experience totally made me feel like a super model! We should hit the catwalk together - anyone else sexy and they know it and wanna strut with us?? ;-)

    My starting weight was somewhere between 215-216, this morning I was 212 - thats 3 pounds for me!! Very exciting!! Way to go everyone!

    my weight 12/29 was 157..
    and..my weight today 154.2! that's a total of 2.8 lbs. (: yay, congrats on the weightloss everyone!

    Weight 8th January is 140.3 lbs

    So a loss of exactly 1lb
