Stay on the shakes?

Hi fellow JUDDDers,
Assuming, you don't get tired of having the same thing every other day, can you just stay on the diet shakes for your down days for the duration?
In the book, there's a bunch of recipes and there seem to be a lot of posts about special items and more recipes on the various forums, but the shakes have some benefits (in my opinion):
1. They are easy to prepare
2. They are pretty cheap
3. You can normally find slimfast or something similar pretty much anywhere
4. They taste decent
5. They are probably healthier than whatever else I'd be eating (5 slim jims or something).
6. You can get them from Amazon and skip half your shopping
7. They are pre-portioned so there is no portion inflation possibility
etc...
So, can you just stay on the shakes after the initial 2 weeks? Or is there some reason to branch out to "real food" on your down days?

There is no reason to sway from the shakes if that is what makes you happy. Go with whatever works.
