Update on splitting daily dose of medication

Hi all,
I had some people ask me to get back to them to see if splitting my daily dose of Armour made a difference! Well, I have now split my dose for two days and I'm here to tell you, it makes a huge difference!!! I usually crash and can barely keep my eyes open at the office starting between 2 and 3 and it used to just go downhill from there. The last two days I have been consistent in my energy. I wish I had a bit more, but I'm assuming since I just started Armour a week ago that I will eventually go up in dose as time goes on.
But it works people, split your dose!

my doc had me split my cytomel, the synthroid stayed the same. I had the same experience as you. Great isn't it! My only problem is remembering to take the middle of the day dose.0

That's great! :flowerforyou:
So happy for you, that you're feeling so much better. I split my Isocort dose, take half in morning, half after lunch. I think it would be really hard to take Armour in the afternoon, because of calcium consumption. How many hours between your doses of Armour? I take mine at midnight.
Thanks for the update too.0 -
I take my meds at 6:15am and then again at 1:00pm. I dont have to worry about calium intake since I dont really eat any diary, I take my supplements, that have calcium in them, around bedtime, so about 11:00pm.0

I have my coffee with cream, and a smoothie, in the morning about an hour after my meds. Consistency is key, as your dose will eventually get adjusted.0

I guess my next question would be when does the puffiness in my face go away? I noticed a lot of puffiness around my eye around where it wasnt there about a month ago! Not liking it at all! Does this go away once I'm at a proper dose? Please dont tell me I have to look like this forever!!!???0
