W5D3 -- done!

I'm doing the distance version, so that was a 2-mile run. It took 35:39 (not including warmup or cooldown), which is a 17:49 pace... nice and slow. I appreciate all the advice everyone gives about taking it slow. I never would have made it if I was trying for speed! As it was, there were still a couple of points on the steep hills where I was wondering when it would be OVER, but once I got back to easier terrain it started feeling good again. I don't feel worn out, and I'm already looking forward to the next run.
It feels awfully good to have slain that dragon! lol

That's awesome! I had the same experience -- I felt like I could keep going. I'm repeating each week, so I'm doing W5D3 again today and looking forward to it! I never knew there was a distance version of C25K -- I'll have to look into it!0
