Swelling?

Do any people with hypothyroidism have any suggestions or advice regarding swelling? I have been consistently swollen all week, and I'm not sure if its because I've been working out, or if there is another reason. The swelling is all over, and especially noticeable around my eyes, hands, and lower legs. I've never had swelling like this that doesn't just clear up in the afternoon.
Do you think it could be from working out more? I've also just been to my PCP, though I've been waiting on my lab results for three weeks thanks to the holidays.

Could you be retaining water for some reason?? When you Exercise do you drink water?
I would keep calling your PCP for some answers. Don't let this linger.
Good luck.

Hi! I also swell with puffy eyelids and fingers for years! I always thought It was sodium. I stay way under 800& avoid Soy. I have ask this MANY times. Its horrible waking up with puffy eyelids that almost hurt to much to keep them open.
I Have found Intolerances of Wheat, Soy, & Sulfites which make you swell. These are ALL NEW to me,as well as the thyroid.
If you find answes, please let me know.

I found as long as i drink only water (8 ounces every three hours) the swelling goes away. Any kind of Caffine makes it worse.0
