Thanks!!

Originally just tied it and kind of tied the ends so I wouldn't step on them.
Then just cut it shorter.0 -
I have a different band, but I cut mine and tie the ends to adjust for how long or short I want the band to be. I have been able to untie, adjust, and retie with no issues with the band.0

How do you know how short to tie that band? I can't find anything in the guidebook about what size to make it.0

The first time I used it, it felt too loose, like I was getting no resistance. So I just untied it and made it shorter. I just adjusted it until I felt like it was giving me some resistance during the exercises and stays put near my ankles.0 -
yeah, tie it shorter. Don't you may not want to cut it----mine broke really quickly and I needed the extra to keep re-tying it in different places. I think mine made it maybe 2 months and then just fell apart all together, and now I just go without.....0

I'm not even sure where I got my toning band. It came with a different workout set. I ordered my Chalean Extreme at a deep discount, so I didn't get the calendar (had to print online), guide books, or band. So I don't know how the one that came with Chalean Extreme will stand up to cutting, though it sounds like not very well! So maybe just tying it to tighten it is your best bet.0

I bought mine used on eBay, so I didn't get the band. I've been using one similar to this, that came with a resistance band I bought awhile back.

As many of you have said the band is very long, and I've also tied it to fit my comfort level.
I carry my weight in my thighs. Since I started working out other parts of my body have toned up and my butt has even gotten smaller. I’ve lost weight. BUT my thighs are still the SAME!!! It’s very FRUSTRATING.
So with that said, back to topic at hand, my next workout I’m shorting my band again to get the most resistance possible!!!!
Does anyone else seem to carry their weight in your thighs, what has worked best for you, how did you do it, any thoughts/suggestions?0 -
I have heavy thighs too! Hoping CLX and the resistance band helps with that. I tied my band to make it shorter, but I think I'm going to tie it even smaller for more resistance.0
