I would concur that there is a drastic difference of expectation on multi-dating depending on where you live. When I was in Vegas, it was expected that one was multi-dating, and it drove me nuts. Not my style. Now I'm back in the midwest, rural midwest at that, and it's mostly unheard of here, though sometimes the cities still have a micro-culture of multi-dating. Personally... not my cup of tea.
