Discovering what worked at 20 doesn't work at 40. Being fit and losing weight takes a lot more effort. Hoping to get some insider tips on successful weight loss over 40.

What has worked for me is a higher protein diet with lots of complex carbs, lifting heavy weights and backing off on cardio as much. I feel and look better than I did at 20. When I was 20 I would do cardio for hours and ate like crap :-)0

I hear ya...it is much harder!! I'm 46 and want to lose 20 pounds...doesn't sound like much right?? Well...have cut calories and upped the exercise....it seemed to work 5 years ago!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!0

Yes it is! It takes longer and we have to work harder. Stick to it and don't give up. I get really frustrated when I see no results on the scale so I have ban myself from weighing everyday.
