First week of Paleo, lost 10 lbs... second week...zilch, 0, nata... is it possible to hit a plateau on Paleo? kind of dissapointing.....

  • Reminds me of the Biggest Loser. The first week is probably a lot of water loss. The second week is a lot of retention of your body trying to hold on to what it has because of the shock.

However, that's with the Biggest Loser. It's not the same for everybody, but you definitely haven't 'plateaued' in just a week. :) Keep going.

    1. this isn't a diet - it is a healthy way of eating.
    2. Look REAL hard if you indulged in dairy, alcohol or sugars. (they all come in hidden forms)

agreed, but if someone had 120 pounds to lose , they will lose it on this diet, I also agree to look where you may have missed something, but keep going, it does get better and work :) keep going!!

Judging a diet that focuses on getting you healthy strictly by weight loss is foolish.

Judging a diet the second week in is foolish.

This is a lifestyle. It is a way of feleling great by eating real food. Your body will adjust. I am 1 year in and am very happy. Still have a way to go but will be there soon. 6 months or so..... Keep the faith. It is not what the scale says but how you feel.Yes I have a Streetglide.
