Hi all, I am getting back into working out. It has been awhile since I have been in shape. Anyway, I'm going to start the Couch to 5k program to get back into running. It is three days a week of running/walking. I also am going to be doing strength training. I am thinking of doing a three day split on the days that I do Couch to 5k. My schedule will look something like below. It has been years since I really weight trained. I used to do a split over 5 days and I did cardio 5 days a week as well. I thought I would try something different. What do ya'll think about the weight lifting split?
Monday- Triceps, Delts, Chest and Couch to 5k
Tuesday- Yoga or Zumba, Abs
Wednesday- Traps, Lats, Biceps and Couch to 5k
Thursday- Rest
Friday- Legs, Lower Back and Couch to 5k
Saturday- Rest
Sunday- Hiking or Rest

That looks great to me! Just make sure your fuelling your body enough to do all the work. That's a lot of movement!0
