Its a new year and ive heard about another club that sounds like it meets my needs better for a recap my current club is supposed to be a kickboxing club but is more like a boxfit thing which doesnt really suit me, very little sparring or pad work and mostly bag work and my footwork is starting to get really bad now... Its like im being molly coddled.
well i got talking to our resident fitness freak and she went for a look their and said the guy who runs it trains the women so hard they puke, they dont even have a ring just mats and she doesnt want muscles as i think she meant they do proper weight training lol
She was trying to put me off the other club but she had the opposite effect, sounds like a proper no frills club to me where they traim hard... After talking to the guy who runs it it sounds promising, they do kickboxing, mma, thai boxing and wrestling
Sounds good to me... Better than 45mins of aerobics, 20mins of circuit training and 25min of bag work that i did last night... Finished training and still had loads of energy

well do what is right for you and how you want to train. i find that really annoying when u go to a class to train and instead they make u do a ton of warm ups and waste your time.. dont get me wrong... exercise other than training is neccesary. cardio, stretching, lifting etc.... but i do that on my own.. and when class is usually only an hour long. i am there to train. do some warm up and then get to the nitty gritty.0

Well im on my way home from training... I have definately made the right decision... Training was extremely hard and i enjoyed the torture of it... Did a bit of wrestling and the lads i met were sound... definately a no frills club but they really know their stuff
