This is borrowed from a facebook group. I believe the list was compiled from questions that are either answered in the book, or answered by Dr. Ian on facebook and twitter.

Q: Can the smoothies and protein shakes be refrigerated?
A: The book says yes, in a storage container and refrigerate it for later. Not sure for how long !!!

Q: How many oz. in a cup?
A: There are 8oz in a cup

Q: How much turkey do we put on our sandwich?
A: One serving as stated on package (generally 2 slices)

Q: Where can I get the book
A: Anywhere books or digital books are sold

Q: Can artificial sweeteners be used?
A: Yes (Splenda, Truvia, Stevia)

Q: Do we have to stick to Dr Ian's timeline?
A: No, work with your schedule, just remember to have a meal every 3-4 hours

Q: Can we have other fruits if we don't like (or have allergies to) pears or grapefruits?
A: Yes, remember to switch your fruits throughout the day (do not have the same fruit twice in one day)

Q: Are Special K Protein Shakes allowed?
A: Yes, as well as Special K snacks (just remember all snacks must meet your recommended calorie count)

Q: What is a serving of veg?
A: 1 cup raw 1/2 cup cooked (check the serving size on your package)

Q: What is considered a small, med or lg salad?
A: small = 1.5 cups of greens, M = 2.5 cups, L = 3-4 cups.

Q: How much meat are we allowed per serving?
A: 5 oz (approx a deck and a half of cards)

Q: What do we look for in canned soups?
A: A can of soup can have 480mg of sodium per serving. It is okay to have 2-3 servings if it meets your calorie & sodium guidelines.

Q: Can I have more than 1 cup of coffee if it's decaf?
A: On twitter, Dr. Ian's answer was 2 cups max per day, no mention about the decaf.

Q: Can we have pork or shrimp as a protein?
A: Yes, pork must be as lean as possible.

Q: Do we have to drink the juice/milk/tea, if we only drink water?
A: No, you can stick with plain water if you would like.
