Weight Loss Plateau

Hi Friends!!

Ok......what are some advice/suggestions, things that you have done to get over a weight loss plateau???

Currently, I am loosing and gaining from 0.50 pounds to 1.5 pounds weight loss/gain...the scale is going up and down....I eat healthy (low carbs, high fiber, high protein, low calorie foods...which excludes soda, sweets, fried foods, etc.) Basically, I'm eating healthy everyday and constantly in the gym when I'm off work. I work out atleast 4-5 days per week, usually 3 to 4 days of intense, fast paced brisk walking at 3.0 mph to incorporating jogging into my walk that usually last for approximately 1 hour to being on the treadmill for roughly about 30 minutes to an hour....on the days that I work (12 hour shifts), when I get off work, I only have enuf energy to go into the gym at my job and walk/jog around the basketball court and do suicides for approximately 30 minutes.....

However, I have "googled" information on weight loss plateaus and there are several recommendations streaming out there such as eating more or less of your daily calorie intake, switching up your exercise routines where if you are constantly on the treadmill, then do another type of exercise, because your "new weight loss body" is now use to or accustomed to what you are currently doing (hence: the same types of food and the same exercise) and thus, you need to "shock" your body into doing something else to get the scale to moving again.

I know all of us run into this weight loss plateau and for those who have successfully gotten passed the plateau and gotten the scale back to moving, please inform the rest of us that are currently hitting this plateau!! Thanks for all of your advice and suggestions to help us all!!!
