A Healthier Coven

We meet once a month, have wonderful bonfire parties, and just let the energy flow. 3days of love and happiness. 3days of the most unhealthy eating ever. lol We set things up potluck style and very rarely is there health choices. With the energy flowing food is constantly needed. The giant bowl of candy and fifty bags of chips are wonderful for a quick fix but it means we have to keep coming back for another. Im trying to convince people of more healthy options. Any advice you are willing to share?

    Take healthy snacks to share, but accept the indulgence when it comes.

    My group has a phrase we call "the Gaea 15". A couple times of year, we all head out to camp Gaea for 5 days and no one goes home without putting on 15lb. I spend half the winter getting into my best skyclad outfit, then half the summer camping that fluff right back on.

    They don't call it "Goddess Sized" for nothing.

    Maybe try to stress natural foods or foods closer to their natural state. Enjoy chips and candy but try to emphasize a need for healthier foods at functions. Maybe make it fun by doing a healthy recipe share at a circle or something. I would hope that no one would be offended or put off by the notion that healthier foods might actually help sustain energy flow better and better serve your body and spiritual purposes.
