I've done the entire program before but hurt my knee/calf and had to stop. Gearing it up again. No problems at all with week 1. Will probably slow down my running pace a wee bit this week to make sure I can handle 90 seconds, but I think I will be fine.
Anyone else starting up?

I just started the program and I just finished Week 1 Day 2 a little while ago. I love it so far!0

Yeah it does a great job of easing you into things. I'm doing it on a treadmill right now but will be moving outside soon. I find the cold weather actually keeps my body temperature down and helps me run faster!0

No problems so far. Little bit of knee soreness, but not unexpected given I've had a few surgeries on it. Ice and ibuprofin to the rescue!0

Finished W2 yesterday. no issues, except one of my pairs of sneaker sucks. Should have stuck with the Brooks Beast. Lesson learned, will be buying a pair this week so i can switch off pairs of shoes.0

Since it should hit the upper 30's tomorrow, I am hoping this snow doesn't amount to anything. I want to go for my Tuesday lunch run along the Charles and not on the treadmill! I am now doing 5k to 10k and 40 minutes on the treadmill will be mind numbing.
Congrats on finishing Week 2. Keep up the good work!!0 -

Two runs into Week 3. I fell behind a bit but am going to run every other day to catch up. First W3 training was brutal. For some reason my calves were very sore afterwards. Made sure I stretched thoroughly and did an hour of elliptical the next day. The next W3 was so easy that I did three reps of 3 minutes long each. I hope that trend continues!0

I did Week 2 Day 1 last night and although I survived I was having side pains. I'm assuming I was running too fast to keep up with the ladies next to me that were running at 7.5 on their treadmills  I will slow it down tonight because my knees are pretty sore today. Are you running 5x a week? I didn't realize that your supposed to do it 3x a week to allow rest periods....0
