I can not believe I'm at wk4. My husband cannot believe I've stuck with the plan. I'm so motivated and even though the weather is against me (snow/severe cold) I'm not letting it beat me. I think that alone is what's motivating me.

Anybody else at this point of the programme? Love to hear how you're coping.

I finished it about an hour ago. It was "easy", which surprised me. But last week I was doing an extra segment each time with running through an entire song, so the 5min sections weren't bad today. However, I then did some hip-hop dancing, and I didn't have nearly the energy I usually do. Very tired right now...

Yay! For week four! Great job!! I can't believe I've been doing it this long, either.

Good for you! Glad you got through it!

I'm doing W4D3 tonight (in the rain... ugh!). Day 1 was not too bad for me. Day 2 was pretty rough. Not sure what to expect from tonight's run, but as long as I can push myself through it, I'm moving onto week 5. I have contemplated repeating Week 4, but I don't think I will end up having to. I have a feeling week 5 might take a little longer to master, however!

Why do you think d2 was harder?

It was just an off day for me personally. I had eaten too recently (running on a full stomach makes me feel queasy) and was really tired for some reason. I finished it but hated every second of it.

But I did day 3 last night and it was great! I even felt like I could have kept running after I finished. I just went for a really long cooldown walk instead. I'm feeling confident about starting week 5 tomorrow.

Ashley - Just like my W7D2 run. I think we'll all have "off days" sometimes.

I just finished w4d3. I haven't looked ahead at what w5 holds for me but I'm excited. I have tried to not look ahead so that why I can't scare myself out of continuing.

Wow! I wish I could have used the adjective "easy" to describe my run. I got through it and was glad when it was over. I'm doing day 2 tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be less anxious. I just wish it wasn't so darn cold.

I'm the same. My husband can't understand why I don't download the whole programme at once but I prefer to do it week by week. It's like I try not to read how people are doing at say week 7. Some of the things they write scare me senseless.

Yep, and for me, there are certain factors that I'm learning can really influence my performance. Time of day, meal timing, etc. I tried running before work in the morning and it sucked. After work, which I thought would be worse, was actually much easier.

Nobody means to scare you senseless. The thing is - I was you (or slower) at W4D3. And you'll be me (or faster) in week 7. But I think you're doing the right thing: don't worry about it. Just have a pinch of pixie dust and think of a wonderful thought. You'll be flying in no time.

Ok, well I'll try to remember the adjectives I would use to descibe it WHILE I am running. They MIGHT be different. LOL. But I do think it is getting easier. I have always liked to push myself with exercise, though. The biggest thing for me is mental, because I can certainly do an hour or two of dance, swim forever, and on and on. But running, I have to remember to think positively about it. Then I do fine and find it was "easy".

Do you wear mittens when you run? It's been in the low 30s here, but if I wear stretch mittens (the kind for kids), it makes all the difference for me. I know lots of places are colder, and that would be harder.

OK. I get "off days". I was worried maybe it was a challenge unique to the program. Glad your next run was better!
