Januvia vs Onglyza

So my doc switched me from januvia to onglyza.... it's much cheaper (I was taking Janumet and it was costing me about $250 a month) and he thinks it will work better for me. I just had my A1C tested and I haven't heard back yet. Has anyone taken Onglyza or takes it now??? What are your thoughts?? Any side effects I should be worried about?? I also take metformin twice a day and insulin at night.
