Extremely nervous, but here I go...

Hi All,

I have been on MFP for quite a while off and on. Since becoming active again this last time I have been kind of trying to find out where I fit. I'm ultra conservative I guess and what people would consider old-fashioned so communicating with people I don't know over the Internet freaks me out a bit. That being said, I really would like some friends for support and to help me stay on track. After all my weeks of lurking through the boards this group feels right to me. I'm looking for female friends (no offense guys) who can speak without using profanity (I see that a lot on these boards) and who are not judgmental, but are striving to become healthier day by day. So, if you feel so inclined, please send me a friend request and I'll try my best to be extra support for you as we learn and grow together.

By the way, I'm not perfect in my diet, so that may freak some people out, but again...I'm learning and growing. I'll be upping my calories goal and taking measurements in the morning as its getting kind of late to do it tonight.

hello! Im new here as of yesterday! Im 21 and mum to 2 boys under 2, youngest being 3 months old. Im 166lbs and was aiming for 126lb (never been that weight and it might be a bit silly seeing as I was fine at 140!) Im 5"5.
Im working out 3-4 hrs a week right now and have to aim for around 1900cal which to me is huge as Im eating 14-1600cals a day now. Im going to stick to it though. Scales dont really mean much to me now as im doing 30 day shred and on day 19 and have lost 3 inches from waist and 1 off hips (im pear shaped and thats the hardest part for me to lose!) and lose 3lbs since starting the shred dvd. So I know measurements are so much safer to go by. Il send you a friends request x

Welcome! I think this group is a very good, kind and balanced one (compared to others I have seen on MFP). I haven't met any food nazis yet!

Make sure you read all the stickies and maybe even visit the separate EM2WL website so you get all the information.
