Week 7 Day 3 - Incredible

Oh. My. God. It was AWESOME. I felt smooth and gorgeous - really like a runner. Instead of focusing on potential fatigue and possible aches and pains, I found myself anticipating a little extra motivation to make it up the inclines and pacing myself to take it a little easy on the downside. I was so much faster than I'd ever been. I thought the program broke after I past the house that's my halfway point and then rounded the next corner. I went maybe a quarter mile further and still felt strong and capable of running a little farther at the end of the jog.
Thanks so much for being on here and providing your support to get me through the week 7 wall. If you're not there, don't worry about it yet. If you are, know that W7 sucks, but it is more than worth it for the person you will be heading into week 8.

That's great! Isn't is a wonderful feeling when you have a good run like that? Week 7 is tough but once you get through it you have turned the corner and are really becoming a runner. Good luck with week 8!0

Thanks so much, Tim!
And if anybody is thinking that they'll never get there; know that you will. Week 1 was hard to start. Week 3 kicked my butt - I was jogging in place at the end of one run. Week 5 was scary. Week 7 kicked my butt. I'm 40 years old and am 207 pounds (I was 215 when I started C25K). I just went really, really slow in the beginning and never really pushed myself. I focused on making it to the end of the run.0 -
