Snack Ideas

good snacks to eat are fruit, veggies, even nuts...if you eat 1/2 cup of pistachios (with the shells) there's 6 grams of protein and 0 Cholesterol how ever it does have 14 grams of fat. you could also make a fruit salad...i like to cut up strawberries, bananas, kiwi, and grapes and mix them together in a bowl, makes for a great snack, or you can mix them in a blender and make a smoothie. :happy: A small salad in between meals is good too.. Does anybody else have any snack ideas that i can try?? Anything that will help me from wanting to eat junk food will help me out

  • yes! i am enjoying snacking on cottage cheese and fruit (normally a tangerine). I also like to have a protein bar once a day. Chobani makes a yummy yogurt with mango that i also enjoy.
  • And...eating nuts doesn't make you a nut!

    Walnuts, macadamias, pecans, pistachios and almonds all contain healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They actually help burn belly fat and control blood sugar! So keep on munching on those, they are great!!
