Bring it on!

The profile picture of the beach is very motivating! What kind of "eating habits" are you guys doing? I prefer to call it eating habits instead of "diet". Anyone use Herbalife?

  • I'm loving the "bring it on!" Woo hoo!!
Personally, I'm doing healthy, clean low carb.
So I'll have my share of fresh veggies and I'm eating chicken and seafood.
No red meat. No pork. Nothing fried.
  • I'm eating whatever I want as long as I stay under my calories per day. Sometime I work out just to go to happy hour :)

No processed foods if I can help it. Try to eat veggies with dinner each night and portion control.

Eat what I want, just try and stay under goal. Limit my fast food, and try and get some fruits and veggies in!

I'm pretty similiar to your diet - lots and lots of fresh veggies, a crazy amount of chicken and limiting my carbs. Although I can get shakey if I have too little carbs! Essentially I'm trying to eat as clean as possible!

I'm doing primal/paleo autoimmune protocol. I feel I have some food intolerances that would be fixed with this.

I'm eating Clean, I've eliminated, sweets, coffee, any caffeinated beverages, any drink that’s not water. I only drink water and green tea. I have removed all process food (or as much as possible) fast food, alcohol, dairy. I only eat foods with 1 to 2 ingredients on the label.

I have already lost 7lb in 28 days the good old fashion way eating healthy. Honestly its been easy removing these foods from my eating habits. I have more energy.

My Problem is the weekends tracking, and staying away from my the foods I just mention. ( I think its because of date nights with the boyfriend ) but I just treat myself but I don't scarf my face with food.

I haven't really been working out, and I don't have a work out scheduled. But thats my goal starting in February.

Because of my hectic schedule, I eat a lot of frozen dinners, or on the go meals. I typically eat Special K or Jimmy Dean (dlights) for breakfast - occasionally yogurt and fruit, healthy choice meal for lunch, fruit or veggie snacks during the day, lots of water - and I eat what I want for dinner and on weekends as long as I stay under my calorie goal. I am trying now to get back on track (which I diverted from over the holiday's). I exercise some every day - at least 20 minutes but try for 45 ever other.

How low in carbs are you ladies going? I've been testing out the carb cycling idea, and my carbs on low carb days run around 80-90 which is largely from veggies and whatever's in my protein shake in the morning (I add a banana). What do you consider low carbs? I've always heard that 80 g a day seems optimal for weight loss, but doubt that number could be right for every person.
