Cheap pylo box alternative

I've been looking for a plyo box for step ups and alternatives for deadlifts/squats at home and stumbled upon this:
http://www.amazon.com/Stack-On-SSR-20-Step-Stool-Black/dp/B002WN1S3G
I can't afford a $120 pylo box but this sucker can hold up to 325 lbs - SOLD!
And it multi tasks for storage!

To me, it looks like it'd work for step ups just fine, but not for deadlifts, I have my feet wider than that stool looks, it seem a little high for some of the lunges, too, but again, just my opinion. I got a step at Walmart for like $35, it might not be as high as I could manage for step ups but I feel like it works for everything, so it's good enough.0

I am planning on doing single legged dead lifts & squats because I have been banned form buying anymore weights, I must use the Gold's Gym XR 45 DH bought me.0

Totally off subject, please forgive me. I see "DH" all the time, what the heck does it stand for? Thanks.0
