Transitioning to new phase

Hi!

I am three workouts away from finishing the Burn phase. According to the workout calendar, the 30th day of the phase is "Burn It Off/Recharge", which, of course, will get my weekly schedule all messed up. :grumble:

How have y'all transitioned to a new phase of CLX? Do you take a few days off and do other exercises or do you move right on in to the next phase?

I moved right into the next phase but since I wasn't a fan of screwing up my schedule either I added that extra Burn it Off into the first rest day of Push so that I could keep on the same schedule.

I didn't like that random workout day because I like my workout phase starting on a Sunday, so I just skipped that last Burn It Off day and started the new schedule on Sunday instead.

Yeah, I guess it's just an artificial way to make it fit a 30-day formula. I'll just start with Push on the day I would normally start a new week, then. Just wasn't sure if there was some hidden benefit to taking a few days off. But, frankly, given my history where "taking a little time off" turned into seven months off, it's best I not break momentum anyway!

Yeah 90 day program sounds better than 84 or 91 days haha :)

Ha ha, that is me. "Oh, I worked out today? Guess I'll take a 6-month rest so my muscles can repair."
