Hey everyone! I've been asked for some meal planning suggestions and thought I would point out some resources available to you already. I have a list of articles on the Intranet under HR/Wellness/Articles and Training that you may find helpful when it comes to your new lifestyle. If you need me to print any of these for you I will be happy to do it. I'd like to point out a couple: "Daily Meal Planning Guide" and "The 8-Week Transition Diet." The first one is a great resource for balancing your plate and getting to know the different food categories, counting calories and it will help you learn how much carbs, proteins and fats you can eat each day. The second article focuses on transitioning your eating habits one week at a time. It's kind of how I based our program, but goes into great detail about what to eliminate and how. Please make it a point to read these and discover some great tips. Below is a sample of the 8-Week Transition Diet plan. Have a great weekend!

Week 1: No Junk
Week 2: Eat small, eat often
Week 3: Eat some colorful, low-density food at every meal.
Week 4: Cook at home
Week 5: Reduce starchy carbohydrates
Week 6: If man makes it, don't eat it!
Week 7: Be yourself
Week 8: Eat a perfect diet.
