30 day shred calorie burn - 3.267 calories burnt per pound every hour. Multiply by weight to get how many calories per hour you would burn and divide by 3 to get each 20 minute work out. ~ taken from Jillian Michaels website
3.267 X 225(my weight)=735.075/3=245.025 burned in my workout today!0 -
I agree with Britta. I also found a formula that is 1.11 calories per pound (for the 20 minutes) which gives you a number very close to Britta's. I have also heard that other mfp'ers log it under cardio as circuit training, general. But that seems to overestimate the calories. So go with the lower number or else get a HRM.0
