Im new and going to try it. So am I correct that as long as I stay net between BMR and my TDEE cut that I am on track? I should never go below my BMR.

Also the calculator suggests 20% cut and doesn't recommend the 25%. What is wrong with 25% when it's still more than I've been eating? Thanks.

Because unless you selected activity level above Mod Act, 25% usually put you really close to your BMR, so unless your workouts are just wimpy and don't burn much, you'll always be making it up anyway.

Also, consider that anything that tells you calories burned for a workout includes what your body would have burned during that time anyway, you might say gross calorie burn.
But really, for making sure you stay above BMR if you are going to do that, you want to subtract out the BMR calories burned during that time anyway.
So BMR / 1440 * workout minutes = calories burned anyway. Subtract from workout calories burned, and that's how many calories were really burned above and beyond what was going to happen anyway.

Thanks. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it all. LOL All those years of thinking less is better is hard to think differently.
