How did January Go?

I only started in January but have been on 25 days straight. I like to look back and see how things went. Some days were though but more good days than bad. Not starving and starting to really get into this program. Lost 14 lbs this month and half way to the 28 lb weight loss goal. Over 60 miles on treadmill since the 6th and Ifind now that I won't skip a workout.

What I really came to realize is that I had no idea how many calories I was taking in before I started to track them. So far no pizza, cookies or chicken wings. Still like red wine so when I know that I am going to have some I either work it into daily total before excercise or workout more.

I also find that sleep is much better than in the past. Joined gym today and start playing squash first of next week.So January was a solid month. I've changed what I eat but don't feel deprived!

I was thinking the topic was Where did January go. I've been stalled around 228 for 4-5 weeks now. Getting in workouts 4-6 times a week. Sounds like you are building some good habits.

I've got about 175 days of logging in. I don't know if I want to know how many calories I was eating before I started logging. I'm trying to be patient, I believe I've made a lot of good changes and I keep reminding myself that it took 20 years to get here. So if it all doesn't fall right off I'm not going to do anything drastic. I sure feel a lot better.
