So, I'm not the best cook, which I'm trying to change. I want to be able to train myself from the start with healthy recipes. Let's post recipes we find along the way for everyone to try. I have a family with four lo's, so it should be kid friendly (as all our new lo's will grow to eventually eat our cooking!). Unfortunately, I don't have a recipe to start off with - but that's why I'm here! :D

  • I'm pretty picky, so I would think that the things I like, a kid would like although they might not if you tell them the name....

I like the Butternut Squash Alfredo http://www.theppk.com/2012/10/roasted-butternut-alfredo/

It's a vegan website, and although we are vegetarian, I think its a good way to get more vegetables in and you could just add meat or substitute ingredients as needed. We just started being vegetarian at the beginning of this year, and that's been our main way of doing so. Since I'm so picky, it's sometimes hard to find good ones (I hate tomatoes, onions, and peppers and most recipes seem to involve one of those).

The ancho lentil tacos are also delicious.
