I got fed up enough that I had to write my first post in here. I've been "chatting"/texting someone who is a police officer. He's divorced with 2 young girls. He somehow turns the conversation into something sexual pretty much every single time. I made the mistake of joining in on the joke ONCE early on (e.g. two weeks ago lol). Keyword: mistake. One time he told me his brother was there having loud sex with his girlfriend. Then another time it was his brother, his girlfriend and her girl friend "just walked in". I said "Cool" and tried to change the subject. No I'm not going to talk to you about having a threesome now. Good try though. No, I'm not a prude but when it's someone I've never met before and really don't know yet, then yes, it does make me uncomfortable if it's constantly brought up. I went so far as to explain myself and say that to him a few nights ago. He said he understood and apologized. Then Thursday night, same issue. He is probably either a perverted sexaholic, hasn't had sex in YEARS, or does this with everyone like it's no big deal. I have it clearly stated on my profile "NOT A BOOTY CALL" to no avail. I've already ignored his "Hey" text last night. I'm done. I'm not going to put up with someone who is giving me red flags in the first 2 weeks when I haven't even met the person yet. I'm not desperate by any means. I'd rather be forever alone lol. I'm not asking for advice, because it's a no-brainer, I'd just like to hear your thoughts on what you guys think. Opinions from both genders are appreciated but I'm really interested in what the men have to say. Edit: I think it should be noted that he doesn't have any pictures posted on his profile. He sent me 2 through a private message that I couldn't really even make out. In one he has a hat and sunglasses on. In the other he is in uniform with a hat on and it's kind of from a distance. I asked if he could send me one closer up where I could actually see him, then his "phone broke" (Classic. If I had a dollar for every time someone's phone was broken!), then he just never did. I chalk it up to security reasons since he is a police officer. OR he doesn't want his picture on there because he's actually taken...which wouldn't surprise me at all.
Here is how the convo went the night before last:
Me: "Well we should hang out sometime"
Him: I agree!! Maybe you could come visit me while I'm working.
Me: I wouldn't mind that, but I usually like to change first before meeting someone after work. (we work in the same city so I would have to leave my work and go straight to his)
Him: Why is that?
Me: Because I look like crap in my uniform and after working all day! Haha
Him: I see. The uniform comes later lol
Me: ::no response::
NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Did you not read when I wrote to stop with the sex stuff?! Then last night he texts me "Hey". GTFO!!!!
THENNNNN, last night. Very attractive younger guy (24). I usually stay away from younger guys, but he was too cute not to message. After a few normal messages:
Him: Why don't you come over?
Me: I'm actually out with friends right now.
Him: I was just joking anyway...but would you really have come over?

Pretty much this. I'm one of those peeps that discusses sex early on and with a fair amount of frequency. But when that's all he's talking about he's probably just looking for a booty call.

Trust me, as I said, I'm NO PRUDE by ANY means. Once I'm comfortable with you, "it's on" for lack of a better phrase. But this is someone I've never even laid eyes on who could be a potential long-term mate. It's not "adultfriendfinder.com" (or the NC-17 group lol). It gives me the impression that he's super desperate. First of all he didn't even ask me out yet so he's already a bum. No I'm definitely comfortable with it but at least after I've met you or we've hung out a few times. But to not have met someone at all? No. Not only that but I specifically told him I wasn't comfortable with that right off the bat. I could see if it was a site geared towards that...but it's not AND like I said I CLEARLY state in my profile that's not what I'm looking for. I want someone with substance, not a p*nis with a heartbeat. There are plenty of those to go around. Yes he lives about 25 mins from me.0 -
And not only that but what ever happened to pursuing or "wooing" someone? (run-on in 3, 2, 1...) Maybe I'm more old fashioned and traditional than I thought in that respect...but I think that being a gentleman and having other respectable qualities such as being polite or (god forbid) intelligent and able to converse and hold a conversation is MUCH sexier than immediately cyber-humping my leg. I'm not really a fan of the whole sexting thing, I will take a look at a pic if I get sent one though. However I have found that girls get pretty annoyed that I don't send dirty texts. It's not that I feel I'm above it, but more that it takes girls too dang long to get off and texting is suppose to be efficient.0

I don't think there is anything to rant about really. Everyone wants sex, and statistically some people are going to approach you like that.
What I'd be more interested in finding out, though, is the success rate of those so called "pervs" online.
I might try their approach with a new profile someday and try to shag as many women as possible, to see if I can lose the "single peeps" competition with a score of -100 at the end of the month (now that'd be something I could brag about).0 -

I think the online component lends itself to dong pics being sent.

Yep its the online thing. I knew one guy who would be willing to walk up to 100 girls in a bar until he found one who would go home with him. It probably took less than 10 times but that was his approach. This was like 10 years ago.
Now a guy can use that same approach and do it somewhat anonymously via internet. It doesn't take much guts to ping 100 girls via a singles site, social network and/or phone. He's going to keep on doing it until he finds the response he is looking for.

I'm sure y'all are laughing at me... but as a young bride with no clue about sex before I got married I was soooooo frustrated when I would try to talk to friends/older women and they would just say, "don't worry, as you get more experience it will stop hurting."
