Ok, so, you aren't supposed to work out on an empty stomach, right? Problem is that I work out FIRST thing in the a.m. This morning, I was up at 4, ate a 1/2 a banana and was working out by 10 after 4. Any suggestions or suggestions on WHAT to grab right away?

I usually have a cup of Greek yogurt with nuts or crunchy cereal in it. It takes a little more time to eat I guess, but I have never had any trouble with it. I wake up at 5:30, go to the bathroom, make and eat breakfast while watching TWC, and usually start working out at 6:05
  • I would just do whatever works for you! I work out first thing too without eating anything first. That makes some people lightheaded though. Just do what feels comfortable :)

If I work out in the morning, I get up around 5-5:15, walk my dog, and usually hit play around 5:45. I shower, then eat.

Coffee and nuts. Jillian says coffee is really beneficial prior to workouts, as is protein. Preferably an hour but I understand that can be problematic at times, is for me.
