Next Great Read?

Looking for suggestions for my next read- looking for something not TOO heavy, but not total fluff, either. Something entertaining, though. I don't care for sci-fi or fantasy. I'm being intentionally vague- I don't know exactly what I'm in the mood for. :)

Thanks!

If you're into romanticish FBI thrillers/mysteries, I love Catherine Coulter.

Lisa Gardner writes great thrillers...although Say Goodbye was too much for me and still gives me nightmares (as the mother of two little boys).

    Junot Diaz's new stories?

Rules of Civility by Amor Towles

Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann

For noirish stuff... Daniel Woodrell or Donald Pollock (Devil All the Time)

I really enjoyed This is Where I Leave You. It is very firmly not too heavy but not fluff.
