I have serenity today

I did everything I wanted to do today and I came in way under my calorie goal - and I'm full! I don't feel hunger or anything. I logged a snack that I may or may not eat before bed. Even with that logged I'm under my goal for today.

Next obstacle - getting back to actual exercise.

    Nice! Try to stay in the feeling of serenity for a while before taking on what's next (i.e. obstacle about the exercise). Sometimes, I think we just need to sit with it, as the serenity can be harder to stay with than the other stuff. We're such fickle creatures.

    Oh, that is so true! I took it really slowly today but I never stopped just working towards what I wanted to accomplish. It was great. Thanks for the advice.

    That is me today! I do not have any serenity today. It has to do with not enough sleep and too much time on the computer. I am still under my calorie goal but I have been visiting the kitchen way too much. I had goals to reach yesterday and worked towards them. Today I'm too tired to try and being a stay-at-home-mom makes it easy to say "tomorrow".

    The great thing is that the day isn't over and I can course correct now before it is too late. I came to log my food in order to get a reality check and not just continue on the bad way today.
